URBANA, OHIO — Gilbert Bundy, chief executive officer of Bundy Baking Solutions, and Jose Busquets, c.e.o. of Excellent Coatings, announced the opening of American Pan Southern Europe, S.L. last month. The facility will provide bakery operations in Europe and the Middle East with new pan sales support along with pan cleaning, straightening and recoating services for American Pan’s DuraShield and OptiShield non-stick coatings and Excoat from Excellent Coatings.

The opening of the operation in Barcelona, Spain, marks the 22nd pan servicing operation for Bundy Baking Solutions. Bundy Baking Solutions operates 13 facilities in the United States, 4 in Canada, and 1 each in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and the United Kingdom. 

In addition, William Bundy, senior vice-president of global sales, said Jason Bowman has been promoted to vice-president of Europe. Mr. Bowman, based in the United Kingdom, will be responsible for the strategic management of European sales and will sit on the board of directors for American Pan SE.
