WAUCONDA, ILL. — Synergy Flavors has acquired Sethness Greenleaf. Based in Chicago, Sethness Greenleaf creates natural, natural and artificial, synthetic flavors, extracts, beverage emulsions and clouding agents for the food and beverage industry.
“This acquisition provides additional scale to Synergy in important beverage, dairy and bakery markets,” said Roderick W. Sowders, president and chief executive officer of Synergy. “Sethness Greenleaf has an excellent reputation in the marketplace that has been built over 120 years, and we are excited to have them as a part of Synergy. Additionally, we feel that Synergy’s broader product offerings will bring additional value to Sethness Greenleaf’s strong customer base.”
The acquisition follows Synergy’s acquisition of Sensus, which was completed on Sept. 21.
