Dynamic duos

New two-in-one snacks offer a one-of-a-kind eating experience. An example comes from Kellogg Co., which is launching Cheez-It Duoz, a mix of caramel popcorn and cheddar crackers.

The Popcorn Factory, a business unit of 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc., is unveiling a new brand called Kettle Krave, which pairs two flavors of kettle corn in one bag. Varieties include buffalo wing with creamy ranch, maple with bacon, cracked pepper with sea salt, peanut butter with jelly, and honey with barbecue.

A similar snack, Honestly Veggie Popper Duos, features crunchy baked bites made with peas or lentils with two flavors per package. The Mac & Cheese variant matches white cheddar and yellow cheddar pieces, while BBQ & Ranch pairs barbecue and creamy ranch flavored bites, and Zesty Queso contains salsa and yellow cheddar flavors. Consumers are encouraged to eat the pieces individually or in tandem to enjoy three unique tastes.

In the candy category, Just Born Quality Confections is debuting Hot Tamales Fire & Ice, which combines the classic cinnamon candies with new blue cool mint candies in a box.
