Lance to expand in Georgia

COLUMBUS, GA. — Lance Inc. said it will spend $10.5 million to expand its Columbus facility with the addition of a new cracker line and increased candy bar production. Expansion at the facility, which will increase the number of workers at the plant to 595 from 525, is expected by late fall.
