WASHINGTON — Stuart Rothenberg, a political analyst, editor and publisher, will speak to the American Bakers Association and Allied Trades to the Baking Industry boards at the upcoming joint board dinner on Oct. 1 in Washington. Mr. Rothenberg is best known for his Washington-based, bi-weekly, political newsletter The Rothenberg Political Report and his twice weekly contributions to the Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call.
Mr. Rothenberg, who covers U.S. House, Senate and gubernatorial campaigns, presidential politics and political developments, will provide an overview of the upcoming election and the current political climate of the country.

Mr. Rothenberg has appeared on “Meet the Press,” “This Week,” “Face the Nation,” “The NewsHour,” “Nightline” and other programs. He often is quoted in the nation’s major media, and his op-eds have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and several other publications. He also has served as an on-air political analyst for CNN for over a decade, covering election nights from 1992 through 2004, and he was election night analyst for the “Newshour” on PBS in 2008 and in 2010, as well as for CBS News in 2006.
