HEERLEN, THE NETHERLANDS — Royal DSM on Dec. 6 said it had completed its acquisition of Cargill’s cultures and enzymes business, which should boost DSM’s growth plans for its dairy business. DSM’s portfolio of dairy ingredients now includes enzymes, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, cultures, probiotics and bio actives. DSM on Oct. 26 originally announced it had agreed to buy the Cargill business in an all cash transaction for €85 million.
