BYRON BAY, AUSTRALIA — Byron Bay Cookie Co., a maker of cookies and other baked goods, has merged with global parent company, Slater International. Slater International makes Luken & May shortbread biscuits, and the original Falwasser Crispbreads.
The Slater International brand is owned by Gordon Slater, who has been involved with Byron Bay Cookie Co. for 10 years. Slater International was formed to provide its expanding food and business portfolio with a unifying global identity, along with the tagline “Australian owned and baked.” The rebranding only affects corporate documentation and communications. All other aspects with regard to production, packaging and logo identification will remain the same.
“Our 10-year investment has awarded us with solid company growth in both the domestic and international markets,” said Mr. Slater, chairman and owner. “Giving our award-winning cookies and crispbreads a proper global corporate identity is a natural progression, and will benefit all of our brands with the same level of visibility.”
Byron Bay Cookie Co. and Falwasser Crispbreads are available worldwide. A North American distribution warehouse is located in Houston.
