DENVER — Quiznos announced it will expand into Mexico with more than 150 restaurants in the next 10 years.
The move is part of an international development initiative for the quick-service sandwich chain, which recently announced its expansion into the Philippines and India. Quiznos opened locations in Brazil within the last two years and is set to open its first Russian restaurant in March.
“We are excited about this new opportunity to expand the Quiznos brand into Mexico,” said Kenneth Cutshaw, president of international for Quiznos. “Mexico is experiencing a growing food service sector and we are thrilled to bring Quiznos’ toasted, chef-inspired sandwiches to the Mexican people.”
The chain expects to open more than 1,000 restaurants in more than 40 countries by 2020.
