LAS VEGAS — On Oct. 2, Belshaw Adamatic Bakery Group settled a labor dispute that had lasted six months.
“The good news is that our labor strike has been settled and our workforce will be returning next week,” said Irene Kimmerly, vice-president of sales for the company. “This is the first step in getting the business back on track.”
Earlier this fall, Belshaw Adamatic named Frank Chandler its new president. He brings to the Seattle-based company his 20-plus years of experience in managing manufacturing operations in the food service equipment field. This is the first I.B.I.E. for Mr. Chandler, and he said he has seen many interesting technological developments in just his first day attending the show.
Belshaw Adamatic also announced that Roger Faw rejoined the company Sept. 30 to handle direct sales of Belshaw industrial equipment in the states west of the Mississippi river. Ms. Kimmerly said Fran Kauth will continue to manage the Dunkin Donut CML kitchens account, and Alan Craker remains in charge of international sales. Mr. Faw will also assist with industrial sales of Belshaw equipment domestically and internationally.
