GUANGDONG PROVINCE, CHINA — The H.J. Heinz Co. has opened an 80,000-square-meter (860,000-square-foot) cereal plant in Foshan City in the Guangdong Province. The facility will create 200 jobs.
Heinz operates six other facilities in China. The company’s infant cereal has been available in the Chinese market for 30 years. The new facility will isolate allergens from raw material storage to the production process to exceed international standards.
