ROBESONIA, PA. — Reading Bakery Systems plans to double its existing oven manufacturing facility in Robesonia to 38,000 square feet. The expanded facility will include a 480-square-foot, environmentally controlled paint booth. The expansion should be completed in the first quarter of 2015. Travis Getz, vice-president of operations, will supervise. He said the new facility will include three main areas: oven manufacturing, welding, fabrication and assembly; material cutting (metals and plastics); and a staging and storing area. “Although we just opened the oven works manufacturing facility in 2012, the increased demand for our products has warranted another expansion,” said Joseph Zaleski, president of Reading Bakery Systems, which manufactures baking and process systems for the global baked snack food industry.
