The new ingredient cereal blend includes wheat, barley, rolled oats, multi-grain flakes, and real berry juice and comes in two flavors: berry medley and vanilla graham. Each one-cup serving offers 7 grams of fiber and 41 grams of whole grains. Tyson Foods launches breakfast line with Tyson Day Starts

SPRINGDALE, ARK. — Tyson Foods is introducing a line of breakfast offerings called Tyson Day Starts. The selection includes biscuit sandwiches, breakfast flatbreads, and wrapped omelets that may be ready to eat in less than two minutes. Some of the flavor varieties include classic sausage, egg and cheese biscuits, wrapped cheese omelets, and bacon, egg, and cheese flatbread sandwiches. All items are packed with up to 27 grams of protein per serving. Tyson Day Starts freezer sandwiches are available for purchase at leading food retailers.

Keebler and M&M’S team up for cookie creations

BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — Kellogg’s Keebler, and M&M’s, a business unit of Mars, Inc., are rolling out three new cookie selections filled with M&M’s. The new lineup includes rainbow chocolate chip mini cookies with mini M&M’s, triple chocolate chip cookies with M&M’s, and rainbow chocolate chip cookies with M&M’s. “The colorful fun and 100% real chocolate of M&M'S adds yet another magical and great-tasting touch to our Chips Deluxe cookies,” said Brad Goist, vice-president and general manager of Kellogg's Snacks. The rainbow chocolate chip mini cookies with mini M&M’s will be available in 12-and 30-count packs and priced in a range from $1.49 to $10.99. The triple chocolate chip cookies with M&M’s, and rainbow chocolate chip cookies with M&M’s are sold at $3.69 each.

Sunsweet introduces Greek style PlumSweets

YUBA CITY, CALIF. — In an effort to capitalize on the Greek yogurt trend, Sunsweet is launching Greek style PlumSweets, which are diced dried plums with a Greek yogurt coating. PlumSweets are only 180 calories per quarter cup. Greek style PlumSweets are available in 6-oz packages in test markets in northern California and the East coast at retailers, including A&P, Ahold, Giant Eagle, and Raley’s.

Pretzelmaker rolls out Bowl of Bites

ATLANTA — Pretzelmaker, a subsidiary of Global Franchise Group, is introducing Bowl of Bites in two flavors: chili and cheese and strawberries and cream. The chili and cheese variety offers salted pretzel bites with spiced tomato-based chili and cheddar cheese while the strawberries and cream includes cinnamon sugar pretzel bites coated with strawberry sauce and whipped cream.

Bear Naked debuts Honey Almond Protein granola

Hain Celestial rolls out Bearitos pita chips

The chips come in a variety of flavors, including sea salt, multigrain, olive oil, and lemon and garlic. Lay’s debuts two new flavors of kettle cooked chips

PLANO, TEXAS — Lay’s Kettle Cooked, a brand of PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay, is debuting two new flavors featuring sea salt and vinegar and jalapeno cheddar. Both flavored chip varieties contain 40% less fat than regular potato chips. The new varieties join original, applewood smoked BBQ and sundried tomato, and Parmesan kettle cooked chips in the lineup. Lay’s jalapeno cheddar kettle cooked chips are available nationwide in 2.5-oz packages for $1.49 and 8-oz packages for $3.49. Lay’s sea salt and vinegar chips are available nationwide in 8-oz packages for $3.49 each.
