SEATTLE — Gerri Martin-Flickinger has been named chief technology officer of Starbucks Corp., effective Nov. 2. In her new position, she will lead the coffee company’s global information technology function.
Ms. Martin-Flickinger brings 30 years of experience in leading large-scale global information technology organizations for companies experiencing growth through acquisition, global expansion and business transformation. Most recently, she was senior vice-president and chief information officer at Adobe, where she played an important role in enabling the company’s transition to a cloud-based business. She has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Washington State University.

As we searched for that leader, Gerri stood out as someone who has years of experience in Silicon Valley and brings deep management and technical expertise to help us navigate the future.”
Ms. Martin-Flickinger will report to Mr. Johnson and serve as a member of Starbucks’ senior leadership team.
