THOMASVILLE, GA. — Flowers Foods, Inc. is getting into the holiday season with the launch of several limited-edition winter snack cakes under the Tastykake brand.
The treats include three new products and three returning products. The new sweet goods include:
• Tastykake Red Velvet Kandy Kakes — The snack cakes feature red velvet cakes with a buttercream creme filling covered in a white confectionery coating. The Red Velvet Kandy Kakes are available in 8-oz boxes and have a suggested retail price (S.R.P.) of $4.49.
• Tastykake Gingerbread Kandy Kakes — The snack cakes feature a sweet and spicy gingerbread cake covered in a white confectionery coating. Gingerbread Kandy Kakes are available in 8-oz boxes and have an S.R.P. of $4.49.
• Tastykake Gingerbread Mini Donuts — The donuts feature a gingerbread flavor cake with cinnamon sugar coating. The Gingerbread Mini Donuts are available in 10-oz bags with an S.R.P. of $2.99.
The returning seasonal products include:
• Tastykake Salted Caramel Mini Donuts — The donuts feature a traditional cake donut covered in a caramel and salt flavored crumble. The donuts are available in 10-oz bags with an S.R.P. of $2.99.
• Tastykake Red Velvet Mini Donuts — The donuts feature a red velvet flavored donut with traditional powdered sugar coating. The donuts are available in 11.5-oz bags with an S.R.P. of $2.99.
Both donut varieties also are available in 6-count single serve packages at an S.R.P. of $1.79.
• Tastykake Holiday Tub Cookies — Each tub features a holiday sweater design filled with shortbread cookies and have a retail price of $4.99. There are 12 Holiday Tub Cookie packages per case.
Tastykakes special winter edition items are available everywhere Tastykake is sold starting Nov.16.
