BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — The Kellogg Co. is continuing its innovation within its Eggo brand with the launch of Eggo Gluten Free Waffles.
“Gluten-free foods in grocery stores sometimes sacrifice taste and texture compared with their original versions,” said AnneMarie Suarez-Davis, vice-president of marketing and innovation for Kellogg’s Frozen Foods. “We’re excited to offer new Eggo Gluten Free Waffles, so everyone in the family, including those who avoid gluten, can enjoy a delicious and wholesome Eggo breakfast.”
The new gluten-free waffles are available in two flavors: original and cinnamon. The waffles contain eight vitamins and minerals and are considered an excellent source of calcium and iron, with 25% daily value of each. They also are made with whole grains, with 15 grams per 70-gram serving.
Eggo Gluten Free Waffles are available nationwide in the frozen food aisle of grocery stores for a suggested retail price of $3.29.
