Clif Bar unveiled a new line of organic trail mix bars at Expo West.
EMERYVILLE, CALIF. – Clif Bar & Co. has begun construction on a new plant in Twin Falls, Idaho. The company said the 275,000-square-foot plant will help it meet growing demand for its energy and nutrition bars.
The initial phase of the project will involve an estimated $90 million investment. The bakery is being designed to scale over time with the total capital investment potentially reaching $160 million. The plant is scheduled to open in the spring of 2016. It will bring approximately 200 new jobs to the region.
