Steve Ritchie has been with Papa John's for 19 years.

LOUISVILLE, KY. — Steve Ritchie, chief operating officer of Papa John’s, has been named president of the company. He also will continue his current role, which he has held since May 2014.

Mr. Ritchie will report to John Schnatter, “Papa John,” the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of the company.

“We are fortunate to have a proven leader in Steve to assume the additional role of president of the company,” Mr. Schnatter said. “He shares my passion for quality and is an outstanding operator and leader for our company and entire system.”
