MiT Systems is taking on a new vice-president as well as a director of implementation.

MiT Systems, Inc., a Fullerton, Calif.-based software developer, announced that industry veteran Bill Hampton will be coming on board as vice-president of business development, effective immediately. Mr. Hampton’s executive background is multi-faceted, having worked with and managed a number of top-tier manufacturing and distribution facilities, software companies and hardware integrators.

“We are fortunate to add such a well-respected professional who brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to our team,” said Bal Maraj, company founder and chief executive officer.

Mr. Hampton specializes in perishable and nonperishable direct-store delivery.

“I’m excited to work with an innovative software company that understands the industry and has the vision to meet the industry needs for years to come,” he said. “I plan to leverage my skills and talents I’ve developed over my career to assist MiT in acquiring premium customers and help grow their business, increase efficiency and improve their bottom line.”

The company also recently added Jeremy Tuell as director of implementation and services to assist with the onboarding of new customers to ensure a seamless transition to the MiT software product suite as it continues to win premier accounts. Mr. Tuell also has a diverse background in distribution for over 15 years most notably working for a Miller Brands and Red Bull Distributor.
