LOS ANGELES — Snack it Forward L.L.C., a maker of better-for-you snacks, including Sunkist Fruit Chips, has strengthened its management team with the addition of several industry veterans to key management roles.

Scott Sturgill, a food and nutrition industry executive with more than 25 years of experience, has joined the company as chief product officer. Mr. Sturgill spent the previous four years as vice-president of product development at South Beach Diet. Earlier, he held executive leadership positions in R.&D. and corporate purchasing at Nellson Nutraceutical. Additionally, he has held positions in product development at Mars, Inc.
David Cosgrove has joined the company as vice-president of finance. Mr. Cosgrove is a corporate finance and accounting executive with more than 20 years of experience in private equity-backed and publicly-traded companies. He earlier worked for The Boeing Co., Pacific Energy Partners and Memorial Resources Development. He also has provided merger and acquisition transaction execution advisory to executive management teams as a consultant for DLC Inc.

Kevin Kuehler has been hired as vice-president of marketing and insights. Mr. Kuehler is a marketing and sales executive with more than 20 years of experience with Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods companies. He has managed food, drug and mass sales teams with companies such as SC Johnson and Pfizer, and has held marketing leadership roles at Philips and Mattel.
