ROBESONIA, PA. — Shane Hanlon has been promoted to director of parts sales and service at Reading Bakery Systems, a manufacturer of baking and process systems.
In his new position, Mr. Hanlon will be responsible for supervision of all aspects of parts sales for Reading Bakery Systems. Additionally, he will be responsible for planning and execution of parts marketing activities, attendance at trade shows, developing new product offerings and cultivation of customer relationships. He also will serve as the primary project manager for larger scale upgrade and retrofit projects sold through the parts department. Additional duties will include assisting with expediting parts orders, as well as efforts to grow the company’s customer service support offerings.
Mr. Hanlon joined Reading Bakery Systems in November 2013 as a project manager. In this role, he was responsible for managing the delivery of projects, while exercising overall control of projects’ scope, budgets and schedules.
Prior to joining Reading Bakery Systems, Mr. Hanlon was national service manager for a major manufacturer of plastic injection molding machines.
