UZWIL, SWITZERLAND — Ralph Schuck has been named head of Bühler’s Grain Milling business area, effective May 1. He succeeds Johannes Wick, who took over as chief executive officer of the company’s Grains & Food business on April 1.
Mr. Schuck has international industry experience in the plant engineering and service business and most recently was president of Bobst Lyon S.A.S. He earlier held various roles at the company. Before joining Bobst, he was a sales and marketing director with Rhodia Industrial Yarns.
He has a master’s of business administration degree from the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Bühler’s Grain Milling business provides technology and innovative engineering for processing wheat, corn, rye, oats, barley, millet and sorghum, buckwheat and soya. The business area covers the entire value chain from consulting and engineering to installation and start-up, including maintenance as well as training and further education.
