MIDDLEBURG, VA. – Approximately 150 millers, associate members and their spouses attended the North American Millers’ Association’s 2016 annual meeting, held Sept. 8-11 at the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg. The annual meeting is held every September/October. Milling and associate members and invited guests attend the meeting, while NAMA’s executive committee and board of directors meet to review the work completed the previous year and to develop a plan of work for the following year. Also during the event, the budget for the year is approved and officers are elected.
This year’s event included a presentation on food industry issues and trends, as well as a discussion about the 2016 election.
