Ross Wuxi Equipmen has completed construction of a new 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China.

HAUPPAGUGE, N.Y. — Ross Wuxi Equipment, a subsidiary of Charles Ross & Son Co., completed construction of a new 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China. The company successfully moved its equipment into the building on Dec. 31, 2016. A formal inauguration is scheduled for March 25. Joseph Martorana, president of corporate operations, said the completion marks the largest Ross manufacturing facility to date.

Construction of the new plant began in early 2016 while the company rented a nearby space in order to handle increases in orders. With this new facility, Ross Wuxi has tripled its previous manufacturing space and a workforce of 350 employees.
