KANSAS CITY — A little more than a month ago, Hostess Brands, L.L.C., in partnership with Nestle Dreyer’s Ice Cream Co., entered the frozen novelties and ice cream market. Now, the Kansas City-based company is looking to heat things up with a new partnership that will give Hostess its first entry in the hot dispensed beverage category.
Hostess Brands, in partnership with Kerry Convenience, has introduced Twinkies Cappuccino for the convenience store channel. The two companies have entered a license agreement through which Kerry will manufacture and distribute the new products under the Hostess brand.
The cappuccino is inspired by Hostess’ classic Twinkie and features a combination of milk, sponge cake flavor and a hint of coffee. The cappuccino is available in Sheetz northeastern c-stores and will be available in convenience stores nationwide in the coming weeks.

Further, the beverage allows c-store operators the opportunity for multi-category promotional activity, rewarding consumers in an engaging way.”
