DELHI, INDIA — The Assocom Institute of Bakery Technology and Management (AIBTM) announced the opening of an Ingredient Library on its campus in Delhi, India. This library contains extensive information on ingredients determined to be generally recognized as safe and is supplemented with teaching and practical usage instruction through the AIBTM coursework. AIBTM also has made display space available for ingredient manufacturers and suppliers to present in the Ingredient Library.
In addition, AIBTM recently published “Bakery Insight: Science-Technology-Process Why’s to Wise” by K. Ravi. Mr. Ravi has more than 35 years of experience in production and R.&D. with major bakeries and has been associated with AITBM since its inception. This book aims to answer questions related to all aspects of the baking industry, including ingredients, biscuits, bread, cakes and control systems. It will be widely available in India and other neighboring countries.
