WEERT, THE NETHERLANDS — Bosch Packaging Technology opened a new customer solutions center in Weert, The Netherlands, during interpak 2017. The goal of the center is to help food and non-good producers maximize the value of their operation while picking a vertical packaging system.

“The opening of the center at our Weert site marks a new era in customer relations and service for Bosch,” said Leon van de Wiel, general manager, Bosch Packaging Technology. “Known for our bespoke vertical packaging equipment that is used in the most challenging applications, we are now applying decades of experience and expertise to developing standardized, almost ‘off-the-shelf’ system solutions for value. The benefit of a single point of contact for the entire system makes this approach ideal for producers of all sizes.”

Bosch is also combining its equipment portfolio for snacks systems from Kliklok-Woodman. Kliklok-Woodman’s reliability system solution is on display at the center, which is configured for the efficient packing of salty snacks such as potato chips and tortillas.
