ATLANTA — The Kellogg Co. has partnered with Moe’s Southwest Grill, a fast-casual restaurant chain, to develop Moe’s Breakfast Bowls for the frozen grocery section. The bowls were designed “to bring bold, authentic Southwest flavors to consumers who want to start their day with a protein-packed meal that is tasty and filling,” the company said.
Moe’s Breakfast Bowls contain a minimum of 12 grams of protein, meats raised without hormones and no artificial flavors or colors. Inspired by the restaurant chain’s burritos and bowls, the new frozen dishes are available in five varieties.
The Chorizo & Eggs bowl contains 14 grams of protein and features a blend of eggs, cilantro lime rice, hormone-free pork chorizo, black beans, pico de gallo and queso sauce. The bowl offers a medium spice profile.
The Chorizo Benedict bowl features 14 grams of protein and contains eggs, Yukon gold potatoes, hormone-free pork chorizo, pico de gallo, jalapeño lime hollandaise and avocado. The bowl offers a mild spice profile.

The Chicken Chilaquiles bowl offers 17 grams of protein and contains eggs, hormone-free pulled chicken, pinto beans, salsa, queso and cilantro on a bed of tortilla chips. The bowl offers a medium spice profile.

“We are thrilled to increase access to the delicious experience of Moe’s through the debut of Moe’s Breakfast Bowls at supermarkets nationwide,” said Kat Cole, chief operating officer and president of FOCUS Brands, parent company of Moe’s. “The Southwest flavor profile is growing in appeal, but until now, not widely available in the breakfast category. Moe’s Breakfast Bowls are meeting the demand for better-for-you, flavorful options for a high protein breakfast or breakfast-as-snack option.”
