ARLINGTON, VA. — John Mackey, co-founder and chief executive officer of Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods Market, Inc., will be the keynote speaker for SNAC International’s 41st annual Executive Leadership Forum (ELF). The event is scheduled for Sept. 17-19 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Mr. Mackey’s presentation will be part of a larger educational agenda focusing on how the retail landscape is evolving to react and prepare for an influx of increasingly connected consumers. Additionally, ELF will feature experts on retail, e-commerce, trends in new snack introductions and snacking as well as insights on what is motivating young consumers.
The Executive Leadership Forum also will feature a social media boot camp, a workshop on leading multigenerational teams, and a panel discussion with some of the founders of natural and organic food companies. General session speakers include: Phil Lempert, the Supermarket Guru; Lynn Dornblaser, director of innovation and insight at Mintel; and Eve Turow Paul, a journalist and adviser.
