RICHMOND, VA. — Markel Food Group has appointed Slobodan Djukic as vice-president of Markel Food Group Business System (MBS).
In this role, Mr. Djukic will lead implementation of the business system throughout the entire family of Markel Food Group companies. He brings with him 10 years of experience using and implementing the Danaher/Fortive Business System at Pacific Scientific, a tech support company.
Mr. Djukic holds a degree in economics from Arizona State University and has spent his career guiding teams through lean manufacturing, policy deployment, value stream mapping statistical process control and other process improvement efforts.
