Many changes are taking place at Christy Machine Co. as it transitions to its new owner Alexander Robinson. Under Mr. Robinson’s leadership, the company will add a conveyor division and be known as Christy Machine & Conveyor (CM&C). The company also will update its logo.
CM&C was previously owned by Randy Fielding. Mr. Fielding will transition to a role on the board of advisers at the company.
After joining CM&C in 2006 as a shop helper, Mr. Robinson worked his way up the ladder and held many roles. In 2013, he became the vice-president of the company and eventually was promoted to owner and president.
“I started on the ground floor and worked my way up through the ranks of the company, learning everything I could about the business, industry, our company and the design and building of our dispensing machines,” Mr. Robinson said. “I recognized the untapped potential of the company and developed a vision to expand and to build upon the company’s great success and reputation.”
CM&C has plans to expand its business on the international stage with new equipment innovations, designs and system offerings to benefit the baking and snack industry.
