CHICAGO — Tempting consumers to ditch meal prep at home or skip long café lines, The Kraft Heinz Co. rolled out a range of frozen stuffed bagels under its Nancy’s brand.
“We wanted to create a product that is easy to serve and enjoy while still elevating any entertaining occasion or snacking moment with real ingredients and delicious robust flavors," said Cara Contini, associate brand manager, Kraft Heinz.
Nancy’s Petite Stuffed Bagels are made with butter, flour, milk, eggs, herbs and Philadelphia cream cheeses and are available in four flavors: original, jalapeño, apple cinnamon and pumpkin.
The original variety is a plain bagel filled with cream cheese. For a spicier take, the jalapeño flavor is made with an asiago herb bagel and stuffed with jalapeño-blended cream cheese. Sweeter options include apple cinnamon, a cinnamon sugar bagel with apple-blended cream cheese, and pumpkin, a pumpkin spice bagel with pumpkin puree-blended cream cheese.
The bakery items are available nationwide and have a suggested retail price of $6.99 per 16-oz box.
