SHANGHAI — Tate & Lyle, P.L.C. has completed a capacity expansion and process upgrades at its Sta-Lite polydextrose facility in Nantong, China. Capacity there now is three times more than when London-based Tate & Lyle acquired the facility in 2014.
Polydextrose provides body and texture in products with reduced calories and reduced sugar. Potential applications include bars, cereal, drinking yogurts, fermented beverages, biscuits and pastries.
