The equipment manufacturer designed new case packing systems using its BPA-engineered 3- and 4-axis Delta-style robots to give its customers flexible and versatile solutions. “This is a perfect example of how we have listened to the needs of our customers and reacted accordingly,” Mr. Quinlin said. “Using our delta robot to case pack snack bags not only provided our customer with a smaller footprint — only 4 ft wide by 8 ft high — but also simplified the system mechanically.”
Also, he noted that 3- and 4-axis delta-style robots have become increasingly popular in the baking and snack industry for packing bags into secondary cases. “Using a delta robot still gives the customer a flexible and versatile solution, yet designed correctly, it can decrease the floor space needed to automate a line,” Mr. Quinlin added.
