ST. LOUIS — Solae L.L.C. is introducing SUPRO Nugget 570, a high protein soy nugget for products such as nutritional bars, snacks, bakery products and cereals. The nuggets, which are gluten-free and lactose-free, are 90% protein on a dry weight basis, making it the highest containing soy protein nugget on the market, according to Solae. "This new nugget offering provides formulation flexibility for food manufacturers to achieve high levels of protein while optimizing taste, texture and nutrition," said Kip Underwood, global marketing director for Solae.
