NORTHFIELD, ILL. — The board of directors of Kraft Foods Inc. has elected Jean-Francois van Boxmeer and Mackey McDonald to new terms beginning Jan. 1, 2010.

Mr. van Boxmeer is chairman of the executive board and chief executive officer of Heineken n.v. He has more than 25 years of experience in the global beverage industry, and while at Heineken helped lead the acquisition of British brewer Scottish & Newcastle.

Mr. McDonald is a senior adviser at Crestview Partners, L.P. and retired chairman and c.e.o. of VF Corp. A 25-year veteran of the consumer goods industry, Mr. McDonald earlier in his career held leadership roles at Sara Lee Corp., including as director of operations for Hanesbrands.
