ATLANTA — Great American Cookies, a retail company primarily operating stores in shopping centers nationwide, will debut an Apple Harvest Nut cookie in stores on Aug. 31. The cookie, the first from Great American Cookies to incorporate fruit flavors, will combine the flavors of apple, oatmeal, granola, white chocolate chunks and nuts with a hint of cinnamon and is topped with powdered sugar.
"Apple Harvest Nut is the result of months of research and development and we can’t wait for our customers to taste what we feel is the perfect combination of fall flavors," said Michael Curtis, vice-president of plant operations and head of the R.&D. department at NexCen Franchise Management, a subsidiary of NexCen Brands Inc., Great American Cookies parent. "This cookie is the first from Great American Cookies that incorporates not only chewy granola, but also an apple flavor."
