TORONTO — Bio-Extraction Inc. has changed its name to BioExx Specialty Proteins Ltd. to reflect its core protein business focus and to formally adopt the name by which the company generally is known in the marketplace — BioExx. Common shares of the company now will trade under the name BioExx Specialty Proteins Ltd.

The name of the company’s subsidiary that owns and operates a Saskatoon, Sask., canola production facility has been changed to BioExx Proteins of Saskatoon Inc. BioExx Specialty Proteins also has incorporated a subsidiary company, BioExx Proteins of North Dakota Inc., which will construct, own and operate a facility in Minot, N.D.

Based in Toronto, BioExx Specialty Proteins extracts oil and proteins from oilseeds for the global food, beverage and nutrition markets.
