RIFLE, COLO. — Natural Soda, Inc. will have the ability to increase annual production of sodium bicarbonate to 250,000 tons per year from its current 125,000 tons per year after receiving approval from the Bureau of Land Management to increase production in Rifle.

Natural Soda, a subsidiary of National Resources USA Corp., has finalized design plans with HPD of Chicago. National Soda expects a boiler upgrade, a heat transfer system and associated infrastructure to be completed by next July. The project is expected to cost about $4.8 million.
