LISLE, ILL. — Frank van Schaayk, president and chief executive officer of McCain Foods USA, has been named regional c.e.o. In his new role, Mr. van Schaayk will take on additional responsibility for McCain South America in addition to his current oversight of McCain Foods USA and the global McDonald’s Business Unit.

Mr. van Schaayk joined McCain Foods in 1992 as managing director of McCain Foods Holland Ltd. In 1996, he was promoted to vice-president of McCain Foods Ltd., responsible for the global coordination of McCain’s business relationship with McDonald’s Corp. In 1997, he was named senior vice-president of food service sales and marketing for McCain Foods USA, and he was named president and c.e.o. of the potato business in 2002. He was named c.e.o. of McCain Foods USA in 2005.


In another personnel move, Frank Finn, currently senior vice-president of commercial operations, was promoted to chief operating officer for McCain Foods USA. Mr. Finn joined McCain USA in 2007.
