CHICAGO — Barilla has partnered with celebrity chef and New York Times bestselling author Ellie Krieger to launch its second “Barilla Whole Grain Taste Challenge.”
From now through Oct. 31, consumers who purchase a box of Barilla Whole Grain pasta and are not satisfied with the product may submit a completed redemption form found on the promotion web site, original store receipt and U.P.C. symbol to receive a free box of regular Barilla pasta.
As part of the challenge, Ms. Krieger has created several recipes featuring Barilla Whole Grain. The recipes and challenge rules are available at www.TryBarillaWholeGrain.com.
“To get people to eat well, don’t say a word about health, rather just cook fantastic food for them,” Ms. Krieger said. “For example, Barilla whole grain pasta makes healthy eating a culinary experience. It is delicious while providing all the health benefits of whole grains.”
Barilla Whole Grain pasta is made with 51% whole wheat, has 6 grams of dietary fiber and is available in six shapes: rotini, penne, medium shells, linguine, spaghetti and thin spaghetti.
“At Barilla, we thrive on developing pasta that makes healthful eating a simple and delicious experience,” said Kirk Trofholz, president of Barilla America, Inc. “We are so confident that people will embrace Barilla Whole Grain, that we are willing to guarantee it with the Barilla Whole Grain Taste Challenge.”
