OMAHA — Brian L. Keck has joined ConAgra Foods, Inc. as executive vice-president and chief administrative officer. He succeeds Rob Sharpe, who will remain in his current position of president of Commercial Foods.
“Brian is a seasoned business leader with deep operations, retail and consumer experience,” said Gary Rodkin, chief executive officer. “Adding Brian allows for a dedicated focus on the company’s business operations and support functions. He will be a valuable asset to our senior leadership team.”
Prior to joining ConAgra Foods, Mr. Keck was president and chief operating officer of Macy’s Inc.’s Midwest Division. As president and c.o.o., his responsibilities included sales, customer service, store operations, finance, distribution, human resources, IT, design and construction, and community affairs.
Prior to that, he held multiple senior leadership responsibilities at the May Department Stores Co. (acquired by Macy’s) in both operating divisions and corporate-wide roles. From 2000 to 2005, he led May’s human resources function after having been chairman of Meier & Frank Department Stores, a division of May.
Mr. Keck received a bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa., and a master’s degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y.
