WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp. has signed an agreement with its franchisee in the United Kingdom to open 35 additional locations in the United Kingdom during the next six years.
“We continue to be delighted by and hugely appreciative of the U.K.’s passion for Krispy Kreme,” said Richard Cheshire, joint managing director of Krispy Kreme U.K., Ltd, the franchisee. “We have worked hard over the last eight years to successfully grow the brand here and now look forward to building on that success in the future by bringing the Krispy Kreme experience to more people in more places across the country.”
Krispy Kreme currently has 45 donut shops in the United Kingdom.
