WAUKESHA, WIS. — Cybrus – The Sprouted Bakehouse recently added additional direct-store delivery routes in Chicago, Milwaukee, Green Bay and Appleton, Wis., for its line of sprouted bread. The company also plans to begin a new route to Madison, Wis., in 2012.
The addition of the routes is part of an expansion plan put in place by owners James and Jenny Marino after they purchased the company in November 2009. The Marinos have begun image enhancements like new packaging and production improvements to grow capacity at the 40-year-old company.
Most recently, Cybrus launched frozen pizza dough available for retail or food service and sub sandwich rolls for deli and food service.
“As our business grows, I’m more certain than ever about our plans for growth,” said Mr. Marino, president. “Our customers continue to tell us how elated they are to find great tasting, healthy breads, and we are convinced that our spouted breads have a place with mainstream consumers as the general population looks for healthier food alternatives.”
Cybrus offers direct-store or distribution center delivery along with both branded and private label products for retail and food service and is the only supplier of fresh sprouted grain products in the region.
