TORONTO — Eric Davis, vice-president and chief financial officer of SunOpta Inc., plans to resign, effective June 30. Mr. Davis, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, will be available to provide support on transitional matters until his departure.

Following the resignation of Mr. Davis, Steve Bromley, president and chief executive officer, will serve as the company’s principal financial officer until the search for Mr. Davis’ successor is completed. Mr. Bromley joined SunOpta in June 2001 and has held a number of key operating and financial roles since that time.
