EMERYVILLE, CALIF. — Clif Bar & Co. has introduced Clif Kit’s Organic, a snack bar made with 100% organic fruit and nuts.

The new bar, which was inspired by Kit Crawford, co-chief executive officer of Clif Bar, contains a handful of ingredients. The bar is gluten-, soy- and dairy-free, and is available in four flavors: berry almond, cashew, chocolate almond coconut and peanut butter.

“When I stepped back to think about what I’d want in a new snack, I knew it had to be organic, it had to be made with simple ingredients and it had to be delicious,” Ms. Crawford said.

Kit’s Organic is available nationwide at natural food stores and in the natural aisle of select grocery stores at a suggested retail price of $1.59 per bar.
