PHOENIX — Cafe Valley Bakery, a baker of cakes, muffins and croissants for distribution to more than 52,000 locations worldwide, has partnered with the Dr Pepper Snapple Group to introduce a new 7UP cake at participating U.S. grocery stores in July.
“Our Cafe Valley Bakery 7UP cake mixes in the nostalgic flavor of 7UP, popular throughout the U.S. since the early 1950s, with our remarkably moist recipe, for a taste families will continue to enjoy for generations to come,” said Ron Ogan, president and chief executive officer of Cafe Valley. “We expect the Cafe Valley 7UP cake to be one of our top selling flavors of rich, moist cream cakes.”
The licensing agreement with Dr Pepper Snapple Group begins with the launch of the Cafe Valley 7UP cake and will include Mott’s mini muffins made with applesauce; A&W root beer float cake; and other co-branded baked goods.
