Grain Processing Corp., Muscatine, Iowa, has developed a caramel apple oatmeal breakfast cookie that qualifies as an excellent source of fiber due to the addition of the company’s TruBran F80T Oat Fiber. The cookie offers 5 grams of dietary fiber per 48-gram serving.

TruBran F80T is a finely milled fiber made from oat hulls, and it contains a minimum of 80% dietary fiber. The cookie also includes GPC’s Maltrin OR R120 organic rice maltodextrin, which controls sweetness, and GPC’s Inscosity B6565 food starch-modified, which improves moisture retention and prolongs shelf life and freezer stability.
