HERSHEY, PA. — The Hershey Co. is breaking ground tomorrow on a $60 million expansion of its Hazleton, Pa., manufacturing facility.
The project will add a new Kit Kat manufacturing line at the plant to accommodate the continued growth of the Kit Kat brand, which is “poised to be the Hershey Co.’s next $1 billion brand," Hershey said.
The capital investment will create more 111 manufacturing jobs, a 25% increase in positions at the Hazleton plant.
