BOSTON — Frank Crespo has been named chief supply chain officer at Indigo Ag, Inc., a company that is focused on helping farmers sustainably feed the world. In his new role he will lead Indigo’s efforts to transform the agriculture value chain, building capabilities that increase grower profitability while responding to consumer preference.
Mr. Crespo has more than 20 years of procurement experience, most recently as chief procurement officer and vice-president of the global supply network division at Caterpillar. Earlier, he was vice-president and chief procurement officer at Honeywell. Mr. Crespo also has held leadership positions at Electronic Data Systems, Praxair, Texas Instruments and Hewlett-Packard.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He is a retired reserve naval officer and earned the rank of captain after serving for more than 24 years.
