SAN FRANCISCO — Jeff Hansberry has been named president and chief executive officer of Caveman Foods, L.L.C., a manufacturer of paleo snack foods.

Mr. Hansberry joins Caveman Foods from Advantage Solutions, where he was president and chief commercial officer. Prior to Advantage, he held a number of senior executive roles at Starbucks Corp. between 2010 and 2016, first as president of global channel development, then as president of Asia Pacific and finally as the president of Evolution Fresh cold-pressed juices and smoothies. Before his time with Starbucks, Mr. Hansberry spent five years at E&J Gallo Winery, where he led the company’s brand portfolio. Earlier in his career, he spent 17 years at Procter & Gamble in positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and general management both in the United States and abroad.

Founded in 2011 by Chris Running, Caveman Foods products include chicken jerky, chicken bites, nutrition bars and Primal Bars, made with chicken, fruit and spices. The company’s entire product portfolio is paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and peanut-free and contains no refined sugars.
